Jesse Shatkin

JESSE SHATKIN IS A GRAMMY-NOMINATED SONGWRITER, ENGINEER AND PRODUCER who has worked with acts including Kelly Clarkson, One Direction, Rihanna and Sia.

He landed a Grammy Record of the Year nomination in 2012 for his engineering work on Kelly Clarkson’s Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”.

He achieved a breakthrough hit in 2014 as the co-writer (and co-producer) of Sia’s Grammy-nominated “Chandelier,” off the U.S. No. 1 album 1000 Forms Of Fear. “Chandelier” was a Top 10 hit in many countries, including the U.K., Germany and Australia (it was #1 in France) and it received Grammy nominations for Song of the Year and Record of the Year.

Shatkin also contributed to Sia’s 2015 album This Is Acting, co-writing and producing “One Million Bullets”, “Broken Glass”, “Summer Rain” and “Fist Fighting A Sandstorm” as well as producing the album’s first single "Alive". Like its predecessor, the album reached No. 1 in the U.S. and No. 3 in the U.K In the same year, Shatkin reached No. 2 in the U.K. and No. 10 in the U.S. as the co-writer of the One Direction hit “Perfect”.

He most recently produced and co-wrote songs for Kelly Clarkson’s album “Chemistry”, The Head and The Heart “Every Shade of Blue” album, Bishop Briggs "Reborn" and "Baggage", Pink "Our Song" and "Long Way To Go" and Ellie Goulding "Waiting For It".
